XPP5458G Intrinsically Safe Headlamp, Dual Mode, White-Green LED
XPP5458G Intrinsically Safe Headlamp. Engineered as a dual function headlamp, XPP5458G operates as a single setting spotlight and three position flood light. As a spotlight, the parabolic reflector collimates the 130 lumen beam so objects 120 meters away are visible. As a flood light the headlamp emits white light at 100 or 25 lumens or green light at 21 lumens, which preserves night vision. Injection molded from an engineered polymer, XPP5458G is IP-X7 waterproof rated and comes equipped with an elastic non-slip headband and hardhat strap. Furthermore, the headlamp features a multi-position vertical ratcheted headband that augments beam orientation.
Incorporating a Cree LED with a L70 lifetime of 50,000 hours, XPP5458G is easy to operate by depressing one of the dual switches installed on top of the headlamp to operate either the spotlight or floodlight. Powered by three AA alkaline batteries, this Intrinsically safe headlamp provides 14 hours of spot light runtime, 12.5 and 70 hours of white floodlight runtime, and 37 hours of (green) floodlight runtime.
XPP5458G Intrinsically Safe Headlamp is suitable for use in combustible gas and dust environments and is cETLus, ATEX, and IECEx listed.
